*DIABETIC is recommended as first line nutritional management for all newly diagnosed cases of Diabetes Mellitus until control of clinical signs and hyperglycemia have been achieved.NOTE: the use of this food may affect the cat’s sensitivity to insulin. It is highly recommended that blood glucose and insulin response aremonitored when starting the diet so that insulin dosage can be adapted. Once glycemic control is reached, nutritional management should be guided by assessment of the Body Condition Score.BCS 6 or less: continue DIABETICBCS 7-8-9: transition to SATIETY WEIGHT MANAGEMENTIt is highly recommended that blood glucose and insulin response aremonitored when starting or changing the diet so that insulin dosage can be adapted.It is recommended to use a digital food scales for measuring daily food allowance.

Composition: Dehydrated poultry protein, barley, wheat gluten*, maize gluten, soya protein isolate*, manioc (tapioca), vegetable fibres, hydrolysed poultry protein, animal fats, minerals, chicory pulp, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, soya oil, marigold meal. Carbohydrate sources: barley (13.5%), manioc (tapioca) (7%).
